A wonderful day in sprawling and well kept grounds of Blenheim palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. We’ve spent nearly a day at this beautiful Churchill’s estate, exploring amazing park, formal gardens (including the rose garden) and of course, the palace itself! The interiors are stunning and have a bit of common with those at Chatsworth House (I’ll definitely feature this one in one of future publications) and if you fancy a little break after much walking, viewing and photographing, there are plenty of cafes around (including somewhat posh Orangery restaurant). Afternoon tea was lovely and I do recommend taking a ride at miniature railway: lots of fun guaranteed (do check though if weather is accommodating on the day).
I tend to come back here quite often (the annual pass is definitely a good idea ; ) as it’s such a majestic place and there are always new locations and gorgeous spots I didn’t photograph yet. Could make a lovely portrait shoot location one day (shame it’s a bit of a drive to get up here ; )
